般若波羅蜜多心經 ~~ PART II

The Heart Sutra is surely one of the best loved Buddhist scriptures in all East Asia. Esteemed both as a concise summary of the key doctrines of the Mahayana Buddhism and as the dharani of immense supernatural power, it has been revered by lay people and clerics alike as one of the pinnacles of Buddhist teaching.

"般若波羅蜜多心經"可能是整個東南亞流通最為廣範的佛教經典‚它受到重視的原因除了是大乘思想的精髓以外‚還有它不可思議的陀羅尼神力。僧俗二眾將般若波羅蜜多心經視為佛教教義的最高峰。

Within the academia, the international Association of Buddhist Studies has made a comparison of the Sanskrit version with the Chinese version of the Heart Sutra, and surprisingly they have come to the assumption that “Heart Sutra” is a possible apocryphal text.
